Scenic Train Trip from Anchorage to Seward

If you are traveling to Seward, we recommend you consider booking a berth on one of the most scenic train trips in all of North American. You will travel along the Turnagain arm of Cook Inlet, and may see Dall Sheep above rocky cliffs.  You may also see moose and bears as you pass through the Placer River Valley.  You will pass the impressive ice wall that is Spencer Glacier and travel over a 1,000 foot pass through the Kenai Mountains.  Before you know it you’ll be debarking the train in the beautiful harbour town of Seward, which is an added bonus! While there you might consider visiting the Alaska Sea Life Centre or take an authentic IdidaRide Sled Dog Trip.
