I hereby apply for enrollment in
Alaska Adventures Guide School. If not paid to
date: I enclose with this application a check of a 50%
deposit made out to “Alaska Adventures”. Deposit is
refundable up to 90 days before the scheduled start of
class. I will pay the remainder of the bill 30
days before the scheduled start of class. I hereby
agree to abide by all the rules, regulations, and
standards of Alaska Adventures lodge and Guide ______I
acknowledge that during Alaska Adventures Guide School I
will be practicing in action, sport, and recreational
activity and such activity is subject to mishap and even
injury to participants. I understand that the
guide school will consist of many inherently dangerous
physical activities such as boating, flying, sport
fishing, wildlife viewing, heavy lifting, camping in the
outdoors, wading/walking in rivers, and other physical
activities. These activities can result in
hypothermia, drowning, broken bones, and even
death.______ I take full responsibility for,
release and hold harmless Alaska Adventures, their
owners, elected officials, agents and employees from any
and all liability, claims, demands or causes of action
that I may hereafter have for injuries or damages
arising out of my participation in the guide training
activities and general daily activities of the running
of a remote Alaska fishing lodge, included, but not
limited to, losses caused by the negligence of the
released parties.______ I further represent that I
am at least 18 years of age, I waive and release any and
all legal right that may occur to me as the result of
any injury I may suffer while engaging in guide school
activities. I am responsible for my own medical
bills and transportation costs if an injury occurs

I understand that the top guide
school graduate will be offered employment with Alaska
Adventures. ______

\r 1I as a guide school trainee of Alaska
Adventures I agree to all of the above terms and know
that I will be privileged to certain confidential trade
secret information and client list and agree to sign a
2-year non compete clause against discussing any private
matters seen or heard of while attending guide school. I
also agree to not start up any new guiding related
businesses within 40 miles of any Alaska Adventures
existing camps on the Alagnak, Cinder River, or Kodiak.
